Mill Valley Weekly

The City of Muskego recently approved the construction of a Fleet Farm on Racine Avenue just south of College Avenue. Because of the proximity to Mill Valley Elementary, we are working closely with the city and engineers to ensure there will be minimal disruption to our school. Student, staff, and visitor safety will be the highest priority for the duration of the project. The proposed timeline will have construction begin April 2022 with completion in April 2023.

Thinking Students...Changing the World!

Tomorrow we have our all school read-in from 3:00-3:30 with our buddy classes. Students can bring their favorite books, a stuffed animal, a blanket and wear comfy clothes.

Student interest in construction & woods courses has grown by over 100% over the last five years. Our facility plans aim to more than double the square footage dedicated to this programming at MHS, and would also include dedicated courtyards for outdoor construction.

Our current auto shop program was designed and built in the early 1960s when our graduating class was under 100 students. The facility plans include increasing the overall space and adding more lifts to allow for additional hands-on-learning for students.

We are excited to continue our Summer Learning Academy for Summer 2022! The course guidebook is in the process of being finalized and will be available on our District website soon. We are looking forward to continuing to expand the varied course experiences for our students.

K-8 Summer Learning Academy Schedule:

Join Character Kids for a fun-filled after school theatre class at Mill Valley on Wednesdays, 3:50-4:50 pm. In our spring session, students will put their stage skills to use by rehearsing and performing a mini-production of The Wizard of Oz! Low-pressure auditions will be held on the first day of class for role placement (students do not need to prepare anything ahead of time). No experience necessary! This 8-week session runs March 30 - May 18. As always, focus is put on developing imagination, social skills and a positive self image through the performing arts.

Forward Testing for 3rd and 4th graders will be taking place

April 4th - April 21st.

The testing will take place in the morning. Please avoid scheduling any appointments (doctor, dentist, ortho, etc.) during the testing times. More information will be shared when we get closer to the testing dates.

Yes, it’s that time of year again where we love to show our Mill Valley Staff how much we appreciate their hard work with our students all year long. We have fun events planned for the week of May 2nd to surprise our staff each and every day.
