FALCON Updates

We are so excited the 2023 - 24 school year! We are off to a GREAT start!

Last year, our state test scores in both EOGs (K-8) and EOCs (High School) were the strongest in proficiency EVER as well as AP scores were head and shoulders above State and World averages!

The students and kids worked really hard and we know this year is going to be another great one!

Parents - you did a GREAT job with carline last week. We appreciate you all having your car tags and following the requests from those directing traffic. Monday will be the first day that Kindergarteners will be picked up at normal dismissal so expect a few delays.

Please help carline move faster by:

• pulling all the way up to the car in front of you
• have your car tag and Pikmykid (K-8 only) number ready
• K-5 arrive for pick up around 2:45 (PINK or PURPLE). Please try not to be late because it runs into the next pick-up group.
• MS and HS pick-up or Elementary with MS or HS (Orange or Green) do not arrive before 3:10

Need another car tag: Bring $5 to the front office anytime OR next week Ms. Harrell and I (Faenza) will have them in the carline - next week only.

Wednesday, September 13 - 12:00 EARLY RELEASE

Thursday, September 14 - ALL students must have the correct PE uniforms.

Parents who need to access powerschool - will need to set up their own account.

If you've noticed, we have a trailer for recycling drink cans in our parking lot. The Rutledge family has taken on the task of taking it to the center whenever it gets full and we really appreciate their dedication to it.

We would love your help in the following ways:

1. Make sure you are only putting in empty drink cans

2. No food cans, pet food cans, or other metal can be added

3. No plastic!

SPIRIT WEAR SHIRTS may also be worn this Friday. NCLA shirts, class shirts, NCLA sport shirts, etc. are all allowed. Regular uniform bottoms must be worn unless your child has earned dress down bottoms from Raise Right earnings. Want to get your child dress down bottoms for all spirit days?!?!?!
