December at PVES

Powdersville Elementary School Strings students will perform their Christmas Concert on Thursday, December 1st . The concert will be held in the multi-purpose room beginning at 6:30 P.M. Doors will open at 6:00 P.M.

Under the direction of Mrs. Stacey Turner, our third grade students look forward to presenting their Christmas Show on December 5th or 6th (depending on home room teacher. Doors will open at 6:00 P.M. Students should report immediately to their home room class. The performance begins at 6:30 P.M.

December 5th (Ashmore, Carey, Crosby, Hildebrand Jennings)

December 6th (Kallin, Payne, Thompson, Woody)

Our December Skate Night event is scheduled for Thursday, December 8th from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Roller Time Family Skate Center located at 2310 River Road in Piedmont, SC. Admission is just $4.00 and this includes skate rental. Come out and see friends and PVES faculty and staff members. Money raised through this event supports our PVES PTSO.

Our PVES 4th and 5th grade is proud to perform their Christmas concert entitled "One Magic Christmas" on Tuesday, December 13th beginning at 6:30 P.M. Doors will open at 6:00 P.M. Chorus students should report to the music room.

Each classroom will enjoy a class holiday/Christmas party on Friday, December 16th beginning at 1:40 P.M. Parents must sign in through the front office area prior to visiting the classroom. Parties will end no later than 2:20 P.M. so dismissal can take place.

Friday, December 16th is the final day for students before Christmas Break. Students will return to school on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017. We hope that all of you in our PVES family enjoy a safe and blessed Christmas season and a Happy New Year!
