From Sunset PTO
Sunset PTO's "One and Done" Fundraiser is coming up!
The Fun Run is a PTO sponsored event and is Sunset School’s "one and done" fundraiser. Students can seek flat donations or pledges per lap. Students are encouraged to run, walk, cartwheel, spin or even dance around our Fun Run course. The goal is to have FUN! Students who raise funds have the chance to enter into raffles for prizes. All funds directly support our students and Sunset classrooms with new learning materials, playground upgrades and extras, special school events for students and families, as well as classroom field trips and special activities.
2nd grade swimming lessons
Free swimming lessons are being offered by the Rec Center to 2nd graders in three sessions, September 18 through September 28; October 2 through October 10, no lesson October 3; and November 6 through November 16, Mondays through Thursdays, unless otherwise noted. Class sizes are limited to 10 students per class. Due to class sizes and to maximize the time allowed for teaching swim classes, there are two different time slots; 3:40 to 4:10 p.m. and 4:15-4:45 p.m. Once both lessons are complete all children still in the pool will be directed to the locker rooms to change.
Rec Center registration forms and information about the swimming lessons are being sent home September 4, information about the lessons are also on the Sunset website at https://5il.co/23mhs. Completed registration forms need to be returned to the Rec Center. A bus will transport students from Sunset School to the Rec Center, parents will pick up their student after the lesson. Parents must pick their student up at the Rec Center NO LATER than 5:00 p.m.
Make sure your student leaves home with their swimming clothes and a towel!

If it is more convenient, here is a link to the paper application, https://5il.co/21594
