Principal's Message

March is looking lucky for our Wildcats!

We're proud and happy to announce that we are on the road to reopening Williams School. Please let me assure you that we are taking extra care in preparing our classrooms and school environment in order to safely welcome back our students and school staff. Some of our students have been missing their school and friends for a year. However, for our smallest Wildcats, this will be the first time they work with their teacher, classmates and explore their TK and Kindergarten environments!

IMPORTANT REOPENING DATES:

03/29: Hybrid Grades TK/K/1st RETURN TO SCHOOL
04/05-04/16: Spring Break - NO SCHOOL
04/19: Hybrid Grades 2-5 RETURN TO SCHOOL

We can't launch our hybrid program without the support of our Williams community. Please help us ensure a successful school reopening by reviewing and following the Reopening Safety Summary details we've outlined below.

As we anxiously await to see and hear students back in our halls and classrooms, we'd like to express our appreciation for your patience and understanding throughout our journey toward reopening.

Our youngest Wildcats will RETURN TO SCHOOL on Monday, 03/29 and will follow this hybrid schedule.

Cohort A:

In-person learning - Monday/Wednesday

Remote learning - Tuesday/Thursday/Friday

Cohort B:

In-person learning - Tuesday/Thursday

Remote learning - Monday/Wednesday/Friday

Schedule:

TK/K - 8:15-11:15 a.m.

1st grade - 8:15-12:05 p.m.

Our Wildcats with a little experience will RETURN TO SCHOOL on Monday, 04/19 and will follow this hybrid schedule.

Cohort A:

In-person learning - Monday/Wednesday

Remote learning - Tuesday/Thursday/Friday

In-person learning - Tuesday/Thursday

Remote learning - Monday/Wednesday/Friday

Grades 2-3 - 8:15-12:05 p.m.

Our Williams Spelling Bee champ will be moving on to the Ventura County Spelling Bee next week. Please send her positive vibes as she logs into the Scripps National Spelling Bee online testing platform 03/15-03/17. GOOD LUCK, LILLIAN!

Character Counts Trait of the Month: Trustworthiness

During the month of March, we'll be celebrating the character trait of "trustworthiness." Please feel free to wear a top/shirt in any shade of BLUE on Character Counts Fridays this month.

Trustworthiness means to: Be honest and reliable • Be loyal to friends and family • Always do the right thing • Never lie, cheat or steal

TK/Kindergarten registration for next school year 2021-22 is NOW OPEN. Registration assistance is available Monday-Friday from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Please stop by!
Extended Office Hours BEGIN ON 03/29: Monday-Friday from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
