Updates from the Principal's Office
Dear Sward Families,
Thank you to our PTA for providing our students with a popsicle for I=Ice Cold Treat Day today!!
They LOVED their treat!!
Our PTA is able to provide these wonderful treats to our students through the support of our Sward community. There is an event right around the corner... Culver's dine and earn week. This flyer will be coming home in your child's THT folder today. If you visit the Culver's Oak Lawn at 10745 Cicero Ave next week (May 15-19) between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. and show the flyer, our school will receive 10% of the profits! Super exciting! I know I will be eating lots of cheese curds next week :)

Mrs. Candy Kramer

Field Day
Field Day is set for Thursday, June 1 and will be here before we know it. Field Day forms are coming home today in case you are interested in volunteering. We have a new system called Visitor Aware that all volunteers will need to be processed through prior to any volunteering. Our volunteers will need to click this link: https://app.visitor-aware.com/self-registration/register/demwgesqreo1 They will be prompted to answer some questions and register. Then, on the day of the event, volunteers will need to bring their drivers license to finish up the process. The system will print out a wearable tag with the volunteer's photograph that will need to be worn throughout the duration of the volunteering.
Volunteers must be 18 or older and we ask that you do not bring siblings with you if you plan to volunteer.
Additionally, there is a volunteer form for parents who might like to volunteer for the Pitch Burst game and a permission slip for your child to have a popsicle treat the day of field day.
