Jubilee Reach Service Day at NHE!

Each year during the Jubilee Reach Service Day volunteers help teachers with classroom set up for the coming school year. For the 2022-2023 school year Newport Heights PTA is going to sponsor a team to help out since we have so many staff on the move.

Jubilee Service Day is an annual event in August that brings together people in the eastside community to serve at local public schools and homes. Started in 2005 at one school, this day has grown to involve over 2000 volunteers, 27 schools, and at least 60 homes in 2022.

Volunteers come from all over the community, primarily from local churches, organizations, businesses, and people already partnering with Jubilee REACH.
