John Harrington was the one who created a newer version of the flush toilet

This had originated in 1596

John had made the flush toilet pretty much just for the him and the Queen. There then wasn't another flush toilet made until 200 years later by Alexander Cumming because all of John's friends were making fun of him about it.

The flush toilet now is mostly ignored because its been around for so long most people don't care who made it, they just care its here for us to use today. People use to just throw out there waste onto the streets. It's purpose now is to have a safe method of sewage disposal.
