Principal's Message
It was wonderful to welcome our WORLD CHAMPION Percussion team back to our school this week! We are so proud of them, as well as all of the accomplishments of all of our students in activities and athletics!
As many of you heard, we had a "secure" event at the school today. Thankfully, everyone is safe and additional information was sent to the SHS community earlier today. We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation as we resolved the situation.
Finally, we have an ask from our Sherwood School District community to everyone who drives on Sunset to and from the high school. The crossing guards near Middleton have noticed an increase lately in the number of people speeding and not acknowledging the safety precautions that need to be taken through that area. If your student drives on Sunset in the morning or afternoon, please talk with them about driving slowly and cautiously so that the younger students in town may cross the roads safely. Thank you for your help.
Have a great weekend, and Go Bowmen!
Mr. Mitchell

Sherwood Spring Fest
Hello Sherwood community members! Sherwood High School is very excited to announce our first annual Spring Fest! Spring Fest is a carnival-style event happening at the Sherwood High School main stadium field on May 13th from 6-8:30 pm. There will be games, food, a talent show, raffle baskets, and attractions. All event booths will be set up on the turf field, not the track itself. All Sherwood community members are invited to attend this event. While admission is free, game tickets and food will be available for purchase. More information will be released soon, and a presale for game tickets will be available for sale online starting next week. Spring fest is a fundraising event; all the money raised will go towards SHS clubs, sports, and Sherwood organizations.
We want to give back to our community and be as inclusive as possible by having free admission, but we need your help! If you are able to support, below is a PayPal link to donate directly. Your generous donations will go towards event vendors, prizes, decorations, and more! This is our first year hosting Spring Fest, and your generosity will help us kick start a new community tradition!
Thank you for your generosity and support, as this event is made possible through Sherwood community members like you!
