Vol 4.3
General Information
Welcome!
A big welcome to two new staff members this year!
Jackie Walton is Grewenow's new head secretary. Prior to Grewenow she worked at the KUSD Education Support Center and most recently at Lakeside Pediatrics. Fun fact: As an elementary student she attended Grewenow and now one of her children attends Grewenow!
Ms. Rebecca Johnson is joing our primary team as a first grade teacher. We are very excited to have Ms. Johnson who comes to us with previous teaching experience in Racine Unified School District, but she's excited to be back in Kenosha because she attended KUSD from grades K-12.

Attendance
Communication is key:
- In-person families - if your child is going to be absent from school, PLEASE call the Grewenow office the morning of the absence. If they attend a medical appointment or have an ordered close contact COVID order, please email or send that documentation when your child returns.
- Virtual families, if your child is trying to login to their live session, but you are having technical issues with your internet connectivity, please notify your child's teacher or the office as soon as possible that they attempted to login. With this communication, and evidence that your child completed assigned work for the day, they can still get credit for attending.
- If your child is having consistent issues joining their live sessions OR only attending a portion, the Grewenow staff will contact your family to find a solution to resolve the problem.
