Take Home Tuesday - January 18, 2022

Hi Cardinals! It was sure great to have a 4-day weekend to rest, recover, and relax. As you can see from the weather forecasted for this week, layer up because those temps are going to drop and the snow will stick around for the time being.

Speaking of sticking around, I wanted to share some information regarding registration/enrollment for the 22-23 school year and some ways you can help promote St. Cecilia Cathedral Grade School in the next coming weeks/months:

1. Enrollment for all returning families will become available during Catholic Schools Week. We open registration at this time as we celebrate all of the amazing things about our school. Look for information in the first week of February for how you can secure your child's spot for next year!

2. Kindergarten Roundup is Friday, February 4th. If you have a current PreK student, we DO need you register for a session that day so both you and your child can attend. There is NO SCHOOL that day for current PreK and Kindergarten students.

3. If you are attending Kindergarten Roundup, invite a non-St. Cecilia friend to come with you. Encourage them to come and check out what a Catholic school has to offer them. Attached to this newsletter is the invite for you to print and hand out to a colleague, download and post to social media, or print and hang up at work.

4. Share, share, share. The best marketing is positive parent recommendations. There are a few files attached to this newsletter that you can download and post on your social media sites. One is the Kindergarten Roundup invite and then four a more general visuals that highlight just some of the amazing things about our school: community, academics, faith, and tradition. Feel free to share these in whatever way you feel comfortable. Ask if your kid's gymnastics organization could hang one up in the entry way or see if your local coffee establishment could post one!

Mrs. Jessie Stoffel's Birthday!

8th Grade Basketball Celebration/Recognition: This Saturday, January 22, we'll be celebrating our 8th grade basketball teams, their parents, and all of their hard work. This will take place before their games at 12:30 and 1:40 PM. Please come cheer them on in one of their final home basketball games at St. Cecilia! ABC will have the concession stand open with lots of goodies. We are thankful for our sponsors, Mama's Pizza and Sgt. Peffer's, for donating pizza for the day. Come and celebrate our amazing 8th graders, watch some basketball, and get down on some pretty great pizza!
