SCHOOL DANCE
We will be hosting our first school dance of the school year on Friday, December 1st, from 7:00-9:00 PM. Tickets for the dance are $10 and maybe purchased during lunch or at the door. Presale tickets will include a slice of pizza. Students will have a chance to win a variety of gift cards/baskets and have the ability to purchase snacks. Each year we have over 300 students at the dance, but we hope to see all of our students at this dance. Mr. Okuma and Mr. Gibbons may even bring out their dancing shoes, for a dance off.
Students will enter the dance through the front doors at 7:00 PM, but should be picked up by the MPR doors at 9:00 PM in order to alleviate traffic issues.
SPORTING EVENTS
Students attending after school sporting events must leave the building when school ends, and may return 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. Students are expected to:
- Cheer for Learwood. They are not to cheer against the other team
- Follow all school rules and expectations as applicable
- Not bring in food or drinks into the gym. Water is the only beverage allowed
- Sit in the designated student section
- Stay in the stands during the game, and cannot keep entering and leaving the gym
- Show good sportsmanship
- Not bring in or use noisemakers
