Happy Sunday Harrington Families
Well, in the immortal words of one Barry Manilow, "It Looks Like We Made It!" Now, I'm sure you will read this and think to yourself "Barry Manilow??" I grew on that song playing on the radio whenever we would go anywhere as kids in the Summer. So, I felt it was appropriate to say it here! We've made it through 177 school days together, and by all accounts it was another successful school year. As with any school year, there are ups and there are down, struggles and challenges, but in every care there has been success, happiness and a positive mentality held by all. Every year since (and I shudder to even say this acronym)COVID, we are having a more normal type of school year; with room to continue to grow though.
The students and staff worked very hard and truly very diligently this year and I have been proud of all of their efforts this year. Harrington continues to be an inclusive, supportive and wonderful community that is filled with happiness and smiles each and every school year. The smiles coming off the bus and getting on the bus will never get old for me. I want to wish everyone a safe, wonderful, happy and positive Summer vacation! I want everyone to enjoy their time off together, to enjoy each other, to cherish each other and value each other. Everyone works so hard for a short 180 days, that everyone deserve to fully relax, smile and have fun this Summer!
This coming Thursday will be the last day for students, it is a half-day and we will be dismissing at 11:45!
I wish you all best, take care of yourselves, look for upcoming school information coming out over the Summer and I will see everyone in the Fall for the 2023/2024 school year.
As always, thank you for your continued support of our Harrington community. Please reach out to me or Karen with any questions or concerns as always.
Once again, remember to…"Push through your day, Smile, Be Happy, Stay Positive!"
Be safe! Stay well!
