Dear UD Community,

When I was a child, summers seemed endless! Each year, I'm surprised by how quickly the season seems to pass. With the new school year only a few weeks away, I am sure that anticipation for 2023-2024 is building! You can rest assured that preparations for the new year are well underway, and excitement among our leadership team to welcome students back to school is growing stronger daily!

As you know, I will soon transition from the Upper Dublin School District. Earlier this week, the Board of School Directors appointed Dr. Marykay Feeley as the Interim Superintendent; she will serve in that role after my departure and until the Board identifies a new Superintendent. Dr. Feeley served as the Lower Moreland Township School District Superintendent before her retirement. She previously served the Sandy Run Middle School community as an Interim Supervisor of Special Education. Dr. Feeley and I will work together to ensure a smooth leadership transition. You should expect to hear from me a time or two before I officially leave the UDSD nest, and in the coming weeks, Dr. Feeley will formally introduce herself to this wonderful community.

• Community Survey - Click here to access the survey. The survey is available until August 13, 2023.

• Focus Groups - The MCIU will host two focus groups via Zoom on August 2, 2023. Click here for the 9 AM session; click here for the 7 PM session. The Board and the MICU ask that you only attend one of the focus group sessions to afford more opportunities for stakeholder input.

The Board of Directors thanks the entire community for its valuable input in the superintendent search process and the community’s continued support of our District and our students.

Student information for the 2023-2024 school year will soon be available to students, parents/guardians, caregivers, and families. Information will be available on the dates below by 4:00 PM.

The District continues to accept registrations for incoming kindergarten students and students entering grades 1-12. Click here to complete the registration process; all the information you need is on the webpage.
