Coloma Junior High
Week of February 6th
Winterfest this week!
Winterfest is the week of Feb 6th! The Junior High participates in the dress up days. What will you wear this week?
NWEA- MAP Testing this week
MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) is a computerized adaptive assessment that measures your child's knowledge of reading and math. All students are asked the same number of questions, but the difficulty of each question is based on how well a student answers all the previous questions.
All students at the Junior High participate in the testing three times throughout the school year. This allows us to measure their growth and provide interventions where they are needed. This week we will test on Tuesday and Thursday morning.
February CARE Celebration - Valentine's Dance
Our Valentine's Dance is scheduled for Feb 21st 6pm - 8pm. Students can qualify to attend by not having any discipline referrals from Jan. 23rd to the date of the dance. We look forward to celebrating excellent behavior by dancing the night away!
The cost for the dance will be $5 and we will also have drinks, snacks, and pizza available for purchase.
Congratulations to our Academic Award Winners!
We were able to take time to honor our students that earned all A's and Honor Roll for 1st Semester.
