Important Information for Our Wonderful Families

Please read carefully

Thanksgiving break is a great time to raise your grade. The semester is quickly coming to an end. If you're behind or failing, take some time to work over break to get caught up. All teacher graded assignments are due December 9th. All computer graded assignments are due December 12th. 6-9th grade students, work on assignments that are worth the most points. Then, retake quizzes if you can. Your teachers have given you a list of the most important assignments to complete. Take advantage of this time. Finals week is coming too. So, make sure you study.

Alabama Destinations Career Academy leaders are working with Alabama Virtual Charter School leaders to transition to ALDCA teachers taking over all classes. We are working hard to make this a smooth transition. The final decisions are being made. We will let you know details as soon as possible. Look for an email with more information and an invitation to a Q&A session.

ALDCA and Chickasaw City Schools had its first Advisory Council meeting with leaders across the state. Our students are going to have amazing opportunities! Stay tuned!

If you haven't already, we need you to complete your MAP test. If you haven't completed both the math and reading portions, you MUST complete it.

Completing required testing is a requirement for enrollment.

If you have completed both sections of the MAP test, you didn't receive an email and you won't see a scheduled MAP Testing session on your schedule. You are all done!

MAP testing is REQUIRED for enrollment and MUST be completed by November 12th.

Please check your email and make sure you have all of the prerequisites before you enter the Class Connect session. Once you enter, you'll receive your session name and password.

Remember, each student should log in, attend each required Class Connect session, and complete all assignments for each course every school day.

Learning coaches should log at least 6.5 hours of attendance for each student each school day by 5:00.
