ATTENTION ALL SENIORS - SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
The Mounds View Equity Promise Scholarship application is now open! This is the only LOCAL scholarship program open to ALL seniors, so every senior at Irondale should apply! You can find information and an application link on Irondale's website or here. Deadline is Friday, January 5, 2024. If you have any questions, please reach out to your dean.
Wallin Education Partners is a proven college completion program that includes financial aid and comprehensive support to ensure college graduation. The financial aid can be up to $16,000 over four years of college. To apply for this scholarship, visit the Wallin website. Last day to apply is Friday, February 1, 2024, if pursuing a 4-year degree. If attending a 2-year program, applications are available from March 1, 2024 to May 15, 2024.
NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE CELEBRATION
Join us on Tuesday, November 28, 6-8pm, to celebrate Indigenous Heritage Month with a feast, featuring Native American soups and fry-bread provided by Pow Wow Grounds, and performances by Irondale students and drum and dance group Gakaabikaang. IRONDALE ULTIMATE FRISBEE INFO MEETING
Come join the Irondale Ultimate Frisbee team for an informational meeting on Thursday, November 30, 6:30 - 7:30 PM in the Multipurpose room at Irondale HS. This meeting is intended for parents and players that are interested in learning more about the team, winter pre-season and spring schedule, and an opportunity to meet the Coaches. NEW WEBSITE LAUNCHING NEXT WEEK
Mounds View Public Schools will be launching a new website for the District and every school next week. A few features of the new website include:
- The main menu is moving from across the top of each page to the right side of the page. In this area, you'll find site navigation and access to other school websites.
- Drop down sections include frequently-used links for families and staff.
- We've added translation for the languages spoken most in our District after English.
- The platform is optimized for mobile viewing, which is how the majority of users are accessing the website.
