Superintendent Update
North Olmsted Families,
As we near the end of winter break and look forward to returning to school on Monday, we hope that all of our staff, students, and families have had a relaxing and enjoyable time off. We are excited to see you on Monday ready to make 2022 a fantastic year! The NOCSD team has been busy making preparations for a return to school at a time when we continue to see a rise in the number of positive COVID-19 cases in Ohio.
There is no change to our scheduled reopening tomorrow, January 3. Public health officials have asked us to continue to have a mask requirement and to return to school in person. We will continue to work with public health officials to help us make the best possible decision for our students. We are following their guidance by continuing to have a mask requirement for all students, staff, and visitors. We have been and will continue to distance as much as possible and have strict cleaning and sanitizing procedures. This is a challenging time, and we feel it is best for our students to learn in person. We are excited to welcome our students back from winter break with in-person learning and we will continue to monitor the situation.
Thank you for your continued cooperation and efforts to keep students and staff healthy.
Happy New Year & Go Eagles!
