Principal's Update
The end of the year is a flurry of activity! Students took end of year assessments and initial results show some pretty fantastic growth! 5th Graders and 5K had picnics. Edgewood Alums graduating from GHS walked through our hallways while our students cheered. We honored 5th graders for their service and growth. And, the staff team beat the 5th graders in the annual kickball game. =)
Please take time to reach through your child's report card; it is designed to give you insight into your child's learning this year.
For our 5th grade parents and those who are moving, thank you for all you've given to your child and to our school while at Edgewood. You will be missed!
For our continuing parents, you'll hear less of me in the next month. You'll receive information at the end of July about back to school dates, etc.
In the mean time, save the dates for the following:
- August 20th--Movie Night at Konkel Park. We'll stake out a corner and enjoy a summer evening and film. (They're showing Encanto!)
- September 1st--1st Day of School. 4K will have a staggered start; 5K-5th grade will all begin on the same day.
- September 9th--Back to School BBQ sponsored by the EHSA, ~5-7pm
- September 20th--1st EHSA Meeting of the School Year
- October 15th--Fall Fest
