After School Musical Theater for Grades 2-4
The Theater Bug is making its debut at Melville with the musical production of Annie!
Do your children love using their imagination?
Do they enjoy acting, singing, and dancing?
If so, the Theater Bug may be a perfect fit for your child.
What is The Theater Bug? The Theater Bug is an afterschool musical theater program for students in grades 2-4. This year’s full musical performance will be “Annie”. If your child is interested in auditioning for one of our 20 spots in this play, please fill out The Theater Bug Interest Form and you will be contacted.
We are looking forward to a wonderful creative experience for your children.

Melville Fundraiser
Project Regive
Our Project Regive Bin is set up in the glass vestibule in the Main Lobby if you would like to make a donation.
Project REGive was established in 2013 as a way to give back to those in the community all year long. While its nice to give to those in need during the holidays, we hope to help a bit throughout the year as well.HOW IT WORKS
Avoid the hassle of returning your unwanted or duplicate holiday presents (or worse, having them collect dust in the back of your closet) and instead donate them to Project REGive. They accept, donations of unused toys and gifts for children and adults. Your generous donations will be made available to those in need, so that they may celebrate birthdays and other important milestones with gifts throughout the year.

Yearbook Help Needed!
Having a yearbook means so much to the students-please consider lending a hand. If you are interested, then please email me at lauried@portsmouthschoolsri.org.
Yearbooks Ready to Order!
Yearbook Order: https://ybpay.lifetouch.com/
School ID: 12072423
If you do not pre order a yearbook, then we may not have enough available to purchase at the end of the school year when it comes out. We order a some extra, but the only guarantee is to pre order, so I highly recommend ordering one ahead of time.
If you have a child in grade 4 and need financial assistance to purchase a yearbook, then please email me directly at lauried@portsmouthschoolsri.org and we will make sure your child gets a yearbook.

We are excited to say that our 2023 Spring Baseball and Softball registration is now open. We have a lot of exciting things going on with the league and hope you will register early. We are still offering our family cap, sibling discount and military discounts. Early Bird registration discount will be in place until January 31st. Registration will remain open for Minors, Majors and Seniors through March 11th. Tee ball, Coach Pitch and Machine Pitch registration will be open until March 31st. These dates are to provide us with the proper amount of time to secure uniforms and other needed equipment before the season opens. We are adding a Senior division in Baseball this year (ages 13 to 16) to the league. Please check out the website at www.portsmouthll.org often as we will be updating it with new and exciting information.
