PSAT Day Plan & Schedule
Students on PSAT Day
Students taking the PSAT will arrive at school on Wednesday and go directly to testing rooms. Students should make every effort to be on time to school and in testing rooms by 8:25 am. The PSAT is a College Board exam and as such, any student starting after the official start time must be reported to College Board. To avoid this, please be on time or even early to school if you are scheduled to take the PSAT.
Busing will run at the regular time for all students on PSAT day, this includes the bus from Boston. Students not taking the PSAT are not required to arrive at school until 11:40 am. See schedule above. If a student is not taking the PSAT and arrives before 11:40 am they can wait on Main St. quietly or go to the field house for open gym.
Students taking the PSAT will be told their testing rooms during flex on Tuesday and administration will have a list on the day of the exam and will be present on Main St. to assist students looking for their testing location.
RMHS is excited that over 430 students in grades 10 and 11 signed up to take the PSAT this year. This exam is the gateway to communication from College Board regarding colleges, to Dual Enrollment courses with many universities, a predictor of success in Advanced Placement courses or subject areas and enters students in grade 11 into the National Merit Scholarship Program.
