This is a delicious and simple recipe for those chilly Fall mornings. If you stir in a bag of chocolate or white chocolate chips, they are even better. Enjoy!

NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH
This November, RMS is celebrating Native American Heritage Month. We will have daily announcements, a presentation at our assembly, and a spirit week to celebrate Native culture! Spirit week is November 13th to November 17th. Indian Education will also be hosting a movie night at the end of the month. With a final dress up day on November 30th, called pick your passion day! Where we come dressed in attire bringing awareness to an important topic in Native America. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Q at kquiroz@fremont25.org."
CHARACTER STRONG
At RMS, we've implemented a new program called Character Strong over the last couple of years. During homeroom on Tuesday's and Wednesday's, our students participate in lessons that support the development of their characters, covering topics like problem-solving, goal-setting, stress management, conflict resolution, team building and more.
Each week, students receive a "Character Dare" - a suggestion for putting skills into practice. This week and next, the Character Dares are: 1) Find a meaningful way to say thank you to a helpful adult in your life and 2) Raise your hand and ask for help in your hardest class. We've prioritized teaching citizenship, empathy, and decision-making because we know that student well-being is a significant factor in academic and future success. We aim to support students in reaching their highest potential, in and out of the classroom. Ask your middle schooler about Character Strong and how they'll try out their Character Dare!
POWERSCHOOL
You can start completing your students registration forms for the 2023-2024 school year via your parent PowerSchool login. And, good news, there are fewer forms to be updated! You can find the forms under the 2023-24 School Year heading. Please log in and update your information, as well as, add contacts to your student's list who may check them out from school. Please call the office or email Mrs. Mayes with questions.
HUNTER SAFETY!
The Wyoming Game & Fish Department has set the class size to not exceed 35 participants per session. We will be running a session this November and another in January, both running right after school. If you are interested, please click on the link and fill out the form. We will give preference to students who are currently at hunting age and have the ability to hunt immediately following the class. Once we fulfill those requirements, we will go to a first come, first serve basis. If we can't accommodate you, the Wyoming Game and Fish will continue to offer courses as well.
7th GRADE REMINDER!
All 7th graders need the Tdap vaccine. Please email the nurse if you have questions. kborst@fremont25.org.
