The Winter Holidays are here!

We hope that your family enjoys a restful Holiday Break while creating memories.

Every holiday we want to make a point to remind you to encourage your student(s) to stay active and spend at least 60 minutes outside in active play and creativity when the weather allows.

Esperamos que su familia disfrute de unas vacaciones relajantes mientras crea recuerdos.

En cada descanso festivo, queremos recordarle que anime a su(s) estudiante(s) a mantenerse activo(s) y pasar al menos 60 minutos al aire libre en juegos activos y creatividad cuando el clima lo permita.

Season’s Greetings, Wrangler Artists!

We have wrapped up our Fall projects and are starting some winter ones. 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade have completed their clay projects and have been sent home. (Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade will do clay in the Spring). Coming Soon… In January, students will create artwork for our annual Art To Remember Fundraiser. Families will then have the opportunity to purchase keepsakes with their artwork on them (ie. mugs, shirts, journals, totes, etc.) Ordering will begin in late March, and products will arrive in May.

Hemos terminado nuestros proyectos de otoño y estamos comenzando algunos de invierno. Los grados 3ro, 4to y 5to han completado sus proyectos de arcilla los que han sido enviados a casa. (Kindergarten, 1ro y 2do grado harán arcilla en la primavera). Próximamente... En enero, los estudiantes crearán obras de arte para nuestra recaudación de fondos anual Art To Remember. Luego, las familias tendrán la oportunidad de comprar recuerdos imprimidos con las obras creadas en clase (es decir, tazas, camisetas, diarios, bolsos, etc.). Los pedidos comenzarán a fines de marzo y los productos llegarán en mayo.

We are exploring and celebrating computer science and being good digital citizens during Hour of Code. Students will get a chance to block code or code in Swift during library.

As we approach the end of the semester, it is super important students bring their library books back to school everyday. Books love to hide inside folders and backpacks. This is a great time to double check the house for library books. If a book is overdue, emails are sent automatically each week. Thank you for all of your support in our Wranglers being responsible.

Estamos explorando y celebrando la informática y siendo buenos ciudadanos digitales durante la Hora del Código. Los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de bloquear código o codificar en el programa Swift durante la biblioteca.

A medida que nos acercamos al final del semestre, es muy importante que los estudiantes traigan sus libros de biblioteca a la escuela todos los días. A los libros les encanta esconderse debajo de carpetas y en las mochilas. Ahora es una buena oportunidad para revisar la casa y buscar los libros de la biblioteca para que se regresen a tiempo. Si su estudiante tiene un libro atrasado, su familia recibirá un correo electrónico que se envía automáticamente cada semana. Gracias por todo su apoyo para que nuestros estudiantes Wranglers sean responsables.

Hey Wranglers! It is hard to believe that we are already into the Holiday season! A huge thank you to everyone who was able to participate in the 2nd Grade musical HATS! and our Veterans Day Assembly. The students did an amazing job of performing. The next big performance will be 4th Grade’s Making the Band, February 2, 2023. At the heart of our class is focusing on the elements of music. Instruments are the tools we use to practice and reinforce the musical elements. 5th Grade will be using Recorders to practice music. I am very excited about bringing these instruments back into our classroom. Our time in the Performing Arts will be short during December, only about 3 Performing Arts lessons, so we will be focusing on practicing known elements and getting ready for the new year. Wrangler Crew Newsletter

¡Hola Wranglers! ¡Es difícil creer que ya estamos en la temporada navideña! ¡Muchas gracias a todos los que pudieron participar en el musical HATS de segundo grado y en nuestra Asamblea del Día de los Veteranos. Los estudiantes hicieron un trabajo fabuloso. La próxima gran actuación será Making the Band de 4º grado, el 2 de febrero de 2023.

Durante clase estamos enfocados en los elementos de la música. Los instrumentos son las herramientas que utilizamos para practicar y reforzar los elementos musicales. 5to grado usará flautas para practicar música. Estoy muy emocionada de volver a traer estos instrumento a nuestro salón de clases. Nuestro tiempo en las artes escénicas será corto durante diciembre, solo tendremos unas 3 lecciones de artes escénicas, por lo que nos centraremos en practicar elementos conocidos y prepararnos para el nuevo año.
