A Message From The Principal
Dear Parents,
The end of the year is fast approaching. We thank the PTO for allocating funds for classroom field trips this year. The students have really enjoyed the experiences. I hope to see many parents and students at the Franklin Showcase Night on May 4th. Enjoy the time!

23-24 Student Placement Survey
Attention families who will be attending Ramsey Elementary next year. This is an optional opportunity for you to share your students academic and social strengths and support needs in their classroom.
Though specific teacher requests cannot be honored, the input from parents and guardians regarding their student's learning styles and environment will be considered.
Please complete survey here.
CHANGE TO THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!
School Board voted to amend the 2022-23 school year calendar. The last day of school for elementary students will now be Wednesday, June 7, while secondary students will have their last day Thursday, June 8
The School Board approved a change to the district calendar at its December 12 meeting, converting June 8 to a non-student contact day at the elementary level. There will be no change to the schedule at the secondary level.
This change will allow elementary staff additional time to prepare for transitions that will occur from the current school year to the next, including the closing of Franklin Elementary School and boundary changes across the district.
Track & Field Day
- Please have your sign out and visible on the front window with your child's name on it so staff can see each afternoon.
- Remind your child to please stay off the snow banks for safety purposes.
- Please enter and exit the car on the passenger side for safety purposes. We try our best to get students as close to the car as possible before we allow them to walk in the street because of the snow banks.
- If you need to change the way your student goes home, please call the office at 763-506-2600 before 3:30pm. For the safety of all our students, we are unable to accommodate changes once dismissal starts.

Volunteer news
May has arrived, which means the end of the year is quickly approaching! It is certainly bittersweet this year, as we look ahead to summer vacation and look behind at all the years we've had at Franklin Elementary.
There are two ways (currently) that we are seeking help as we end this year:
1. Lost and Found Organization (during the school day, when convenient for you)
We've amassed a large collection of unclaimed items that need to be gathered and taken to a donation drop-off site. Sign up here if you can help!
2. Track & Field Day / End of Year Celebration (Friday, June 2nd, 9:30a-2:30p)
Track & Field is back! We will have a variety of events for students, and we need your help to lead the activities. There will be a closing ceremony at 2:15, celebrating the last year of Franklin Elementary. Sign up here to be a part of this special day.

Thank you all for your support of our school!
