Teacher Appreciation Month

Please join us in celebrating some of the hardest working, most caring teachers around. Each day in May we will celebrate a Buchanan High School Teacher and honor their dedication to their students and school community. I couldn't ask to be a part of a more cohesive, loving, comical bunch of teachers and I am so proud to be a part of this BUCK FAMILY!

Mrs. Holok cares so much about her students. She’s always checking in on everyone, even the quieter kids that don’t talk a lot in class. She’s amazing!

Mrs. Holok- thank you for always being so nice to everyone and always including people, even if they don't talk! You are a truly great person.

Dear Mrs. Holok, I was so excited to have another class with you this year! Since 10th grade I had really missed all of your funny stories about your life experiences! Mythology was such a fun and creative class, but I am definitely sad that we didn't get to build giant boats. None the less I miss you so much and appreciate everything that you taught me through out my high school career!

Mrs.Holok always has a smile on her face. I enjoyed going to her class everyday. There was never a dull moment in our English class. I loved all of her stories she told us. I am going to miss her class a lot next year.

Mrs. Holok; her personality makes me enjoy going to her class and she is always there to help someone out.

I had Mrs. Holok for sophomore English and for Mythology. In those classrooms she never failed to impress me with how creative we were allowed to be. Many of those projects I did in her classes will be the ones I will remember and tell my kids about in years to come. I also got to know Mrs. Holok through student council and the herd. She amazed me with the time she put in after school to help give kids the best high school experience possible. Mrs. Holok is so sweet and I feel so blessed that I was able to be around her these past four years. I will miss seeing her every day.

Mrs. Holok- I love how she is such a good team player and just loves everyone around her and even new comers. She is such a great teacher to help out and is always there when needed.

Mrs. Holok, she always has everyone’s back and she’s like the “school mom”. I was one of the lucky ones to have her as a teacher in 8th grade and my sophomore year. This year I also ran into her at the fair and played hide and seek with her and the kids in the tractor area and it was so fun. Mrs. Holok will always be my favorite teacher.

Lisa Holok- I liked how she is full energy and starts the day with a smile.

Mrs. Holok is one of the more energetic and understanding teachers I have. I love how she rarely will get mad at you and will typically try her best to support you.

I only have 3 classes at BHS but I want to brag about Mrs. Holok too. I had her last year and she is by far my favorite teacher. She always made class fun and you could talk to her about anything. I really miss seeing her beautiful face every day! I’ve learned so much from her not just about school but about life. It’s going to be so hard my senior year saying goodbye to Mrs. Holok and Mrs. Carlson for one last time:(
