I sent an email earlier today about a survey regard the character initiative at Nike Elementary. The survey should only take 10 minutes of your time. Please complete the survey no later than October 23, 2023. Your response to the survey is anonymous, confidential, and voluntary. Responding to the survey constitutes your consent for us to use the information for district and school planning. If you have a sick child, you can call and leave a message on the office voicemail at any time, day or night. The office is staffed from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., but the voicemail is always an option.
If you send money in for you child, please clearly mark with child’s name and what the money is for. The office does not have change Please send in exact change for your child.
Nike is celebrating National Dessert Day on October 13th. If parents would like to bring in a dessert for staff, you can sign up HERE. Store bought or homemade items will be happily eaten!
The Nike Facility assessment will occur on Oct. 18th. An architect team will be on the campus during the day for walk throughs of the building's interior and exterior. There will be an input meeting after school at 4 p.m. If any parent would like to be a part of the stakeholder meeting, please let me know.
We are doing the 2nd Annual Pumpkin Book Character Contest. Pumpkins and form can be dropped off at the Nike office beginning Wed., Oct. 18th and must be turned in by Wed., Oct. 25th. Judging will occur on Thursday, Oct. 26th. The pumpkins will be disposed of on Friday, Oct. 27th.
