Hello Waterford Community -


Our school community has been BUSY during the Spring of 2022! It is great to see the return of PTO events here at the school with overwhelming attendance and participation. Congratulations to all of our Trailblazers for completion of the 2022 Historic Waterford 5K Trail Run and thank you to the many volunteer coaches who helped train and support our students!


With only a few weeks left of school - we still have a lot of exciting activities to come! I hope you are able to join us for some of the events that are coming up.

Spring Skate Night

Join us this Friday, May 13 at 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM for a fun night of skating at the Bush Tabernacle skate rink in Purcellville.


This event is free for our students and their families. Please be mindful that this is an Elementary event so if you have older children who want to attend remind them to be respectful and careful of smaller children. The PTO will be providing pizza, chicken nuggets and water for the event.


Bring your best moves and your appetite for a night of skating and snacking!

2022-2023 Class Placement - Parental Input

It's the time of year when teachers are making class lists for the upcoming school year. If you would like to provide input for next year's class placement regarding strength/weaknesses, goals, etc - please click on this FORM. Input will be accepted through May 20, 2022.

Field Day Volunteers Needed

Mrs. Germani is busily planning our annual Field Day for Friday, May 27. In years past, we were able to staff this date with volunteers from Woodgrove High School - but this year we need some parental support. If you are able to volunteer - we have morning shifts and afternoon shifts available - please click on this SIGNUP and choose a slot.

Kindergarten Registration Ongoing

Registration is currently open for the 2022 - 2023 school year. Any child who will be 5 by September 30, 2022 is eligible for Kindergarten. If you have a younger child in your house, or know a neighbor that has a kindergarten eligible student - please visit register.lcps.org to begin the registration process. Karen Murter, our school registrar, is available for any questions by calling the main office.
