We are happy to announce the winners of our PAWS award for the month of October. Two students from each homeroom are nominated for the PAWS award. To be eligible for the PAWS award, students must consistently follow our school rules of being Peaceful, Aware, Wise and Safe for the month. All nominated students participate in a PAWS parade where they are cheered on by their peers and staff for their nomination.

From the larger group of nominated students, 6 students are randomly selected for the PAWS award. This award allows the students to display a yard sign for the month that states, "I am a proud parent of a DBAPC student" who is peaceful, aware, wise and safe. The signs stay in the students' yard for the month when they are moved to the next recipients of the award. Our finalists this month are (from left to right): Ethan B., Adam R., Ryan O., Owen N., Adriana B., and Alyx B. Congratulations to our winners and ALL of our students who are peaceful, aware, wise and safe each and every day! We will be watching for our next round of PAWS winners for the month of November! Keep up the great work, DBAPC students!!!

We are preparing to host our Parent Teacher conferences and hope each and every parent can attend either in person or virtual this year. This is a time for you to discuss your child's progress thus far in school. It is critically important for you and your child's teacher to meet and discuss where your child is performing so we can work together to help your child reach the highest potential. Babysitting will be provided for school aged/preschool children. We will be hosting our book fair in our library. Please stop in before or after your conference. Conferences will be held on Monday, November 20th from 12:30-3:30pm and 5-8pm and Tuesday, November 21st from 12:30-3:30pm and 5-8pm. We look forward to meeting with you soon!
