Covid cases have been on the rise. We have also had students/staff out sick with the stomach flu. Please help prevent the spread of any illness at Wolf Ridge by doing your own symptom screenings at home prior to sending your child to school. If your child is experiencing symptoms, please do not send him/her to school. We want to try our best to ensure our students and staff stay healthy. Our goal is to provide in-person learning for our students as we know that is the very best, especially for our younger students. Please do your part. Contact our school nurse, Ms. Christy Scott, if you have any questions about your child's symptoms or when/how your child can then return to school.

I am very proud of our staff at Wolf Ridge as everyone has had to work extra and/or sub in other areas throughout this week. We have the very best students and supportive parents that have come together to work as a true team during this time. Please know that we will make up the school day missed as a result of taking an emergency day on Friday, January 14th.

Thank you so much for your continued efforts and support for Wolf Ridge. Please take time during this long weekend to rejuvenate and prepare for the weeks ahead. Stay healthy and take care!

There will be no school on Friday, January 14th, due to lack of staff (teachers and support staff) along with a large amount of student illnesses, absences, and exclusions. This day will be made up on Wednesday, 5/18 (the end of the school year). Remote Learning will NOT be utilized since we will be making up this day in-person. Both buildings will be heavily disinfected over the weekend. This is not an adaptive pause, and we will return on Tuesday, January 18th. Please take care of each other, stay healthy, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday. (Keep in mind that Monday is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and there is no school.)

Students go outside for recess and PE often. Please send your child to school with a coat each day. If your child is in need of a coat, please reach out to our school nurse, Ms. Scott, by calling our office or emailing her at cscott@bhcusd.org.

Please remember to send your child to school prepared for their day. Keep in mind that students should not be dropped off any earlier than 7:30 AM. Our staff does not arrive until 7:30 to supervise students and it is often too cold for students to wait outside.

If you need to drop your child off earlier than 7:30, please sign your child up for our before school program through PAC (Patriot Advantage Club) by contacting Ms. Bassett at jbassett1@bhcusd.org.

Blessing in a Backpack is a charitable program created to provide food for students/families that may need it over the weekends and during school breaks. Each Friday, students that have signed up are sent home with food items for the weekend. These students are sent home with additional food items prior to extended breaks. Your donation of at least $1 or more will allow you to wear a hat on Fridays and will also help to raise funds for this amazing program.
