Dear Cavaliers,

I hope you all had an awesome weekend! Just a reminder that this past Friday 9/6/19, progress report cards were sent home with your student. Please make sure you take a moment to review the report card with your student. This is a moment to celebrate good grades and set goals to raise grades that are not where you want them to be. If your student did not bring home a report card, please call our counseling center to arrange for a copy to be either picked up or sent home with your student.

Thank you to all of our English/ELD teachers for working hard this past Friday providing additional opportunities for struggling students to show mastery during Rise-Up Friday. This week our Science department will be working with students during Rise-Up Friday. The goal is to provide students with additional opportunities to show mastery of the core content standards.

Parents/Guardians, If your student gets an invitation to attend Rise-Up Friday, please encourage them to attend. Our next progress report is coming out in approximately six weeks, so please make sure that your student takes advantage of every opportunity offered.

A huge thank you to our Counselors, Assistant Principals, ASB Advisor and CIS Coordinator for helping our first Coffee with the Principal a success. Thank you to the over 150 parents/guardians who attended. I appreciate the questions asked by our parents during our open forum and I look forward to helping each of our students to be the best Cavalier possible.

Students who's parent/guardian attended, will receive a double lunch on Monday 9/9/19. Those students will be wearing a wrist band provided by the ASB and should report to advisory first. Teachers can release those students with wrist bands as soon as they take roll.
