TOGETHER IN PARTNERSHIP
Mora High School students had an outstanding day at the MSHSL Statewide Leadership Conference held at the St. Paul RiverCentre. Their active participation and enthusiasm showcased the true spirit of leadership. Kudos to our students for representing MHS with excellence and embracing the opportunity to grow as leaders by fostering leadership skills and making a positive impact.
SPANISH STUDENTS VISIT SCSU
Ms. Edberg's Spanish III class recently embarked on a captivating adventure to St. Cloud State University! Highlights of their visit included: An engaging class session conducted in Spanish, a fascinating study abroad presentation that transported students to new horizons, and a delightful campus tour, all conducted in the language of Español.
Spanish III students are concurrently enrolled in SPAN110, a St. Cloud State University class. Upon successful completion, they earn a fantastic 3 college credits—a testament to their dedication and language proficiency. A huge gracias to Ms. Edberg and St. Cloud State University for providing our students with this incredible opportunity for academic and cultural growth!
CHEMISTREES IN MRS. STRANDE'S CLASS
We're excited to unveil a unique holiday decoration this season—a Chemistree! Using chemistry-specific glassware like beakers, test tubes, and flasks filled with colored water, along with a star crafted by our talented students, we've blended science and holiday spirit for a festive touch. Take a moment to appreciate the artistry and creativity that our students bring to the season.

HEALTH OFFICE TIDBITS ON COVID AND SICK GUIDELINES
1) We still have COVID tests in the health office available for students (and their families). They are the BinaxNow tests, and the results are pretty quick (they say they take 15 minutes).
2) If your student tests positive for COVID, it is recommended they quarantine for the 5 days from symptom onset. However, the more important things are to be fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications, and symptom improvement. So as long as they are fever free, their symptoms have improved and they feel well enough to be here, then they may return to school.
3) If your student tests negative for COVID, but has symptoms (cold/flu/GI, etc.), please follow the above guidelines. Fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications, and feeling well enough to be here.
4) If your student has been exposed to COVID, they may still come to school unless they are exhibiting symptoms and are not feeling well enough to be here/with fever.
5) If your student is ill (and you do not test for COVID). Please still follow the sick guidelines. Fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications, no vomiting/diarrhea for 24 hours and feeling well enough to be here.
