We have lots of exciting things coming up in the coming weeks. Here are a few things on the horizon:

• Keys Assembly on 4/1- We will have a keys assembly on the primary playground at 3 pm on 4/1. Bring a lawn chair and join us in celebrating our Buffalos!

• Dean of Students Position- BES is conducting interviews this week for a full-time Dean of Students. We are excited to have another administrative position to support our many staff and students.

• Cookie Dough Fundraiser for Gaga Ball Pits- Thank you all for selling cookie dough so that PTO can purchase gaga ball pits for our students. If you still have any cookie dough forms or funds please turn those in by Monday morning.

• Camp Invention- Coming to BES June 13-17- Interested in having your child attend? Sign Up on the form below.

• Kindergarten Pre-Enrollment- A link has been attached for families to sign up for sessions for their incoming kindergartners. We can't wait to meet our newest Buffalos on April 18.

• Buffalo Gear Available- Check out the link below for Berryton gear. Happy shopping!

• Drug/Alcohol and Vaping Prevention for 6th Graders- The first weeks of April our sixth graders will receive information from PARS regarding alcohol and prescription drugs. Additionally, Officers Scheideman and Scheid will be at BES the week of April 19 to present on marijuana and vaping.

As an elementary principal I enjoy working collaboratively with staff members to support student learning. I am passionate about continuing to learn professionally, and building relationships with staff and students at Berryton Elementary. When I'm not serving at Berryton Elementary I am usually with my husband and two sons. We can be found at sporting events, cheering on Kansas State University, or just enjoying a movie at home.
