Principal's Message
Dear Twain Families,
Happy Veteran’s Day! Thank you to all of the veterans within the Twain community, and beyond, for the sacrifices that you have made for the rest of us. As you were able to see on Twain's Instagram (@twainesd) account, we had a special Veteran’s Day celebration yesterday morning. I appreciate Sra. Grimm for coordinating this event, all the Twain teachers for preparing their classes, our students’ for singing their hearts out, and our Student Council for hosting the event.
I am looking forward to next week’s Spirit Week! I will be participating each day and I am especially excited about twin day. Also, please remember that attendance is important and that we have a full week of fun and learning.
If you have any questions regarding events or other matters, please reach out to your child’s teacher via ClassDojo, e-mail, or call our front office at (310) 675-9134.
Sincerely,
Michael Bosler
Principal

Attendance Matters!
We are excited to begin a new year with new possibilities for success. Attendance is a vital component of your child’s success in school. 80% of student success in school begins with showing up and there is strong evidence that school attendance makes a difference. We encourage students to arrive when our gates open for breakfast at 8 :00 A.M. to ensure they are on time, have breakfast, and are able to play before the bell rings at 8:30 A.M.
If your student(s) cannot attend school, please notify the front office via phone at (310) 675-9134 between 07:45 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or by completing the Student Absence Form.
