Student Holiday on Nov. 15
Please mark your calendars to note that Wednesday, Nov. 15 is a student holiday. We will be doing professional development activities with the staff that day.
Full Time SRO
We are excited to have Amanda Cardenas as our full time SRO. Officer Cardenas had previously been here part time. She has been a great addition to our campus and has started building strong relationships with the students.
Veteran's Day
We were so happy that our 3rd graders had the opportunity to participate in the wonderful Veteran's Day Ceremony that took place this morning at the high school. Words are never enough to show our appreciation!
Staff Kudos
We have been working with the Lighthouse Team, which a part of the Leader In Me program that is being implemented in the district this year. Every week, the staff newsletter shares kudos of great things that staff members are doing. It's a wonderful opportunity for staff to honor their peers. The Lighthouse Team felt that it would be good to add this particular section to the parent newsletter as well. So, starting this week, our Staff Kudos will be shared as a part of the weekly parent newsletter.
We are looking to create a way for parents to submit kudos as well, so look for that feature in an upcoming newsletter.
