Mr. Posick's Friday email
December 4, 2015
Would you like to visit?
I have a wonderful opportunity every day to watch and learn from and with our staff and students. As I'm writing this, I'm listening to a read aloud in 5th grade, listening to an author's description of the main character of a fantasy book. The students then had a chance to share their jots about the character. I get to stop in to classes every day, and most days I spend more time in the classrooms than I do in my office. And that's how it should be. I'd love to have you come and visit to see what I get to see. Feel free to send me an email or give me a call and I know that we can set something up. I look forward to having you visit to see our school in action.

Hour of Code
The Hour of Code is a global movement to try an hour introduction to computer science, reaching tens of millions of students. Please get involved during Computer Science Education Week, December 7-13 by volunteering at Merton Community School District.
Our teachers would love to have somebody technical who can help in the classroom, or for somebody who can inspire their students by talking about the breadth of possibilities with computer science (which could be done through a video chat).
If you, or someone you know, would be willing to volunteer, please fill out this form.
