FES: Mid-October Update

With the big game coming up on Saturday, October 21st, we will be having a Michigan/Michigan State Spirit Day on Friday, October 20. Students and staff are encouraged to wear colors to support the Spartans or Wolverines.

Picture retakes will be held on Monday, October 23rd. Students wishing to have their pictures retaken must bring their original picture packet with them, and any student that was absent or did not have their picture taken in August may do so on retake day. Pictures may also be ordered online at mylifetouch.com.

On October 23, our teachers will be sending out conference sign up. Please make sure to sign up for a time to talk with your teacher!

Continuing with our tradition for Halloween, on Tuesday, October 31st, we will have a Black and Orange Spirit Day for our staff and students. Costumes may not be worn during the school day as we'll leave that for families to enjoy later that evening. Teachers will be reaching out if there are volunteer opportunities in the classrooms on this day. All volunteers must follow our volunteer policy (page 5 of our Family Handbook).

Our FES Lost and Found is overflowing. We do clean out our lost and found at the end of each month to continue to make room for more, if your child is missing something, please have them check it out!
