π΅ Please encourage your child to visit the Lost & Found. We have a lot of items.
π΅ Birthday treats are only allowed on the designated "Monthly Birthday Celebration", which generally is the last Friday of the month. All treats must be commercially prepared. Birthday treats brought at any other time will not be allowed.
π΅ Morning car riders should be dropped off in the car rider line using the driveway. Please do not drop students off on the road beside the car rider line and have them walk through the car rider line traffic. This is a safety issue and slows the flow of the cars in the car rider line.

We are very excited about our GLOW Math Night. Here's what you need to know:
1. Math night will be from 5:30-7:00 in the Elementary Safe Room (PE gym). Doors will open at 5:30.
2. We will use black lights in the gym. Wearing White or Neon Colors will help you glow.
3. You may wear any glow items that you may have (glow sticks, necklaces, face paint, etc.)
4. We will have Glow Foam outside in a designated area. You should plan on doing the Glow Foam LAST. After you have been in the foam you won't be able to come back in the gym.
5. The foam could leave you damp/wet. Plan ahead and put a towel in your vehicle for the ride home.
We have over 600 Gobble Grams to assemble. We need YOUR help!
We need all hands on deck for our next meeting. We will have a brief meeting and then assemble Gobble Grams. We would LOVE as many volunteers as possible.
We will meet in the Elementary Cafeteria.
β° Attendance β°
The State's Department of Education uses the information below to figure our attendance rate, which factors into determining our school letter grade. Both EXCUSED & UNEXCUSED absences are considered an absence when determining our attendance rate.
There are three categories of absenteeism:
Mild: Missing less than 5% of the school year
Moderate: Missing between 5% and 9.99% of the school year
Chronic: Missing 10% or more of the school year
In order for our school to receive full 'student engagement' points for a student, he or she must be in the Mild Absenteeism category.
We are thrilled to have 96% of our students who currently have 'Mild' Absenteeism. Thank you, families! We appreciate your continued partnership and support.

π Academics π
We have set our next goal to read NINE million words. If (when) we reach it, Mrs. Byrd & Mrs. Anselmi will get silly-stringed!
There are many multiplication websites to practice facts OR you can create flashcards.
Arkansas state standard says that by the end of 3rd grade all students should have mastery over all multiplication facts through their 12s.
3.CAR.2: Use basic fact fluency to multiply and divide whole numbers with mastery by the end of third grade.
- Knowing all products with factors up to and including 12 and the corresponding division facts from the products with factors up to and including 12.
November Book It is in Full Swing! We had 105 students earn free pizza in October. We're hoping to DOUBLE that in November. There is evidence that reading 20 minutes a night has a positive correlation to a student's academic success.
