We wanted to start this week's newsletter by saying "Thank You" to all veterans for your service and sacrifice as we reflect and honor you this coming Wednesday.

Did you know that the rock group Aerosmith performed their first concert 50 years ago at Nipmuc Regional? On Friday, The Boston Globe published an article about the 50th anniversary of Aerosmith’s first concert which took place in the Nipmuc auditorium in the little town of Mendon. November 16-20, 2020 - Normal Hybrid Schedule

This year picture day will be hosted on two different days to accommodate both cohorts. Cohort 2 will be on Thursday, November 12, and Cohort 1 will be on Monday, November 16.

For our stand-alone remote learners, you will be able to choose either of those days between 2:30pm-3:45pm (as photographers will be wrapping up at 4pm) to come to school and have your picture taken. Masks must be worn at all times while on campus.

Lifetouch is offering a safe, paperless and 'contactless' school picture day. If you purchase school photos online, you will not need to return any paperwork back to Nipmuc on picture day. You can purchase your pictures by clicking here.

The science department would like to invite you to attend the (Virtual) Nipmuc Science Symposium! Students have been working hard at research and design, community service, and topic-specific research this term and they will be showcasing their efforts on Wednesday, November 18th from 12:30 - 2 pm. Parent /Teacher Conferences have been rescheduled and will be held virtually this year. Teachers will be sending out emails with 10-minute time slots for parents and guardians to sign up for.

There will be an evening option on December 8 from 6:00pm-8:00pm and an afternoon option on December 9 from 12pm-2:30pm. Teachers will share the link to the meeting room on the sign-up form.

Please note on Tuesday, December 8 students will have an early release from school at 10:45am. Cohort 1 will meet in person on this day and Cohort 2 will meet asynchronously. You can find the schedule for the week of conferences here.
