Highlights from Last Week
HALLOWEEN DANCE: Thank you to all that attended that Halloween Dance on Friday. We had close to 300 students join us in costumes for a great night. Special THANK YOU to Ms. Janus and Mrs. Udelsman and the LVMS Student Council for all of their hard work organizing.
RED RIBBON WEEK: Our Spirit Week for Red Ribbon Week was a blast! In addition to our spirit week, our 8th graders had an important Drug Awareness presentation from Lt. Bratus of the WTPD. Click Here to see the Live Feed post.

Registration for Winter Sports (Boys and Girls Basketball) is now CLOSED! Paperwork can NO LONGER be accepted at this point.
Sign Ups: You MUST sign up for try outs outside of the Boys Gym (students may only sign up if you submitted physical / health office forms)
Tryout Date: Monday, November 14th

Boys Soccer
The boys soccer team lost a hard fought playoff game versus West Essex last week by the score of 3-0. Kevin Masterson and Jack Gumersell led the strong defensive showing while Matt Elghazaly demonstrated excellent goaltending making save after save.

Girls Soccer
The girls soccer team played in the County Semi Final last week. At the end of regulation, the game remained tied 0-0. The game went directly to Penalty kicks where ultimately the Lady Panthers found themselves behind, losing the game by a goal.

Girls Field Hockey
Field hockey lost a hard-fought battle against West Essex last week 3-0. There was a strong defensive effort by Rilyn Paumi, Madi Reed, Hadley Savage, Maddison Candura, Lexi Buchanan, and Meg Collins with Ashlyn Savage tallying 13 saves. Forwards Millie Moir, Reese Jones, Abby Prata, and Ceci Holl combined for over 40 goals this season. Thank you to all of the 8th graders that finished their middle school career last night, leaving everything on the field. Best of luck when you continue to play in high school! Thank you all for such a great season.

PTA Meeting with Guest Speaker Sergeant Robert Oranchak - 11/2
Save the date and plan to attend our November PTA meeting on 11/2 at 7 p.m. in the LVMS Library. Sergeant Robert Oranchak will join us to talk about school safety and his role at LVMS in keeping our kids safe.
