Nominate an Amazing Librarian
This award was created in 2001 by past president Deborah Svenson (Lewisville ISD). The focus for this award is to celebrate particular librarians who share their time and expertise about technology and the Internet through technological forums, such as listservs, presentations, or creative library strategies integrating technology in the curriculum. These librarians are chosen by their peers and are awarded at the LIB-SIG meeting during the TCEA convention.

Arial at In Italics – The slant on YA books
Arial at In Italics loves reading and most bookish things. Her goal for this blog is to write exciting reviews and create engaging discussions for others who love books as much as she does. She is a student, so sometimes her posts are not as frequent as she would like. When not studying or reading she enjoys writing, photography, and most anything that lets her feel creative. One of her greatest passions is fonts. She loves fonts of all shapes and sizes, though she is a bit picky as to which meet her standards. Another love of her life is puns, so be expecting some disguised in her posts.
