Open House will be on Tuesday starting at 5:30 pm in the cafeteria. Additionally, join the TJ Austin Elementary of Tyler PTA. If we have 100 parents join by the end of Friday, September 23rd, there will be a surprise party for all students.

The bell rings at 7:50 AM each day, and learning begins at that time! Students are LATE if they arrive at that time and must be dropped off at the front of the school. If you are dropping your child off at the front after the bell rings, you need to get out with your child, sign them in, and provide our attendance clerk with the reason for your child's tardiness.

La campana suena a las 7:50 AM todos los días, ¡y el aprendizaje comienza a esa hora! Los estudiantes llegan TARDE si llegan a esa hora y deben dejarlos en el frente de la escuela. Si va a dejar a su hijo en el frente después de que suene la campana, debe salir con su hijo, firmar la entrada y proporcionarle a nuestro secretario de asistencia el motivo de la tardanza de su hijo.

• Car Tags- Please keep your car tag hanging and visible until your child is in the car.
• Please keep in mind, that we will not release students past 2:30 PM.
• Updated Contacts- Parents, please review your child's emergency contacts in the parent portal. If someone is not on the list, we cannot release students, even with their license provided. Please update all contact information!
• If a student is dropped off at 7:50 AM or later, you will need to sign in at the front office.
• For any changes in after-school transportation, please contact the office by 2:00 PM so that we have time to relay the message to the student and teacher.
• Label EVERYTHING! At the end of each 9-week period, all unclaimed items (jackets, clothing, shoes, etc.) will be donated. Please write your child's name on their clothing and items so that it can be identified more easily.
• Connect with your child's teacher by signing up for their teacher communication (Remind, Dojo, etc.)

Parents:

We will get started at 5:30 PM in the cafeteria. Stop by our tables downstairs which will have great resources and information to help support your children at TJ Austin!

• PTA- See how you can join the PTA and what events they have planned throughout the year!

• Leader In Me- Learn about our SEL program called Leader In Me and how it empowers your student for their future!
• Welcome Table – Mrs. Aycock will be at the Welcome Table if you have any questions.

We can't wait to see all our LOBO's and their families! If you visit all our tables you will be eligible to enter the drawing for several door prizes!

2 - Click the "Join PTA" button

2 - Select "Tyler ISD" in the School District dropdown menu

3 - Select "TJ Austin Elementary of Tyler" in the PTA dropdown menu and register/pay
