Lebovitz Resource Center - January 2015
Baby, it's cold outside...
With the temps dropping this month, we're focusing on things both snowy and cozy. We have a display of wintery novels underneath a giant McCallie mug of cocoa. What else is new? Check it out below...
Wiggle Room
Affectionately named "The Wiggle Cushion," students have been checking out said cushions while studying. The blue discs help improve posture, increase focus, and elicit the occasional giggle.
Pet Therapy
According to pawsforpeople.org, pet therapy helps reduce anxiety, lowers blood pressure, and increases self-confidence. During exam week, many students dropped by to de-stress by playing with Mrs. White's dog, Bessie.
Chromebooks are Here
The library now has a set of 16 Acer Chromebooks. We are excited to have them for student use in the library, for library instruction in the classrooms, and for teacher check-out.
