Assalamu Alaikum, Dear Families,
We hope you are enjoying the summer break and getting ready for the start of the school year. There are just 2 weeks until the first day of school and we're looking forward to welcoming our students back! Here are a few reminders to help you get ready. Details about the first day of school, hot lunch, bell schedules etc. will be sent closer to the school start date.
If you have not yet completed your students' enrollment, we encourage you to complete the process and pay the resource fee as soon as possible. Families with pending enrollment will stop receiving school communication after this email.

Bright Horizon Academy Administration
ACH Form
BHA offers ACH direct deposit for tuition payments. Kindly fill this form to authorize Bright Horizon Academy/Islamic School of San Diego to debit your account for Tuition Payments. Send the completed form and a voided check via email to finance@issdweb.org at your earliest convenience. You may also drop them off at the Clairemont or Allied Gardens Campus office.
Parents already signed up will need to fill out a new form for the coming year, unless done so already.
Forms must be submitted on or before August 21st for us to process the first payment in a timely manner. Please contact the school office if you have questions.
Immunizations
Students are required to have up-to-date immunizations before they attend class. Check with your pediatrician, family physician or medical clinic to ensure your child is fully immunized. Your child may be excluded from attending school if these requirements are not met.
Parents are required to submit the updated immunization record if new shots were received since the last enrollment cycle. This includes incoming 7th graders who are required to have the Tdap vaccination usually given on, or after their 11th birthday.

Bus Interest Form
As previously announced, we intend to offer a bus service for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year, insha'Allah. If you plan on using the bus service from MCC to Clairemont or Allied Gardens Campus, or between campuses, please complete the survey found at link below. Your responses will determine the need for a bus, and help us finalize the route logistics.
An official sign up form for the bus service will be sent to the interested families soon, insha'Allah.
BHA Uniform Policy 2023 - 2024
Uniform Policy is linked below so you can purchase all required items before school starts. All students MUST be in proper school uniform on the first day of school.
School office is open and walk-ins are welcome for purchase of girls uniform jumpers and boys and girls fleece jackets. School logo patches are available for purchase as well. Payment is by cash only. See office timings below.
School Supplies
All students are required to come prepared starting the first day of school. Parents are requested to purchase the necessary items and set the students for success with the correct school supplies.
