PBIS Update
PAWS Pride
This week each class extended the concept of team by developing a class goal based on the behavior matrix. Each class will have the month of February to meet their goal by demonstrating the behavior at least 80% of the month. If they meet the goal as a team, they will be rewarded at the end of the month. Ask your child about the goal and reward their class decided upon.
PE - by Alyssa
Howdy y’all. I’m back!! Today I will be talking about what we did in gym this week. On Monday I wasn’t here but my classmates told me that they had running day. On Tuesday we played Hula Hut Knockdown. It was boys against girls. It is where you try to make balls in baskets and buckets so you can get hula hoops. When you get six hula hoops you can make a hut. The other team tries to knock it down by throwing balls. Whichever team has a hut or huts up when the game needs to stop that team wins. By the way the girls team won. On Wednesday we cupstacked with huge cups. At first we had to cupstack with our feet and then we could do it with our hands. The hard part was when we had to run a lap around the gym every time we put a cup on another. On Thursday we did different exercises to two songs. The first song was Heart Attack by Demi Lovato. The second song was We Found Love by Rihanna. After that we got to do peaceful playground activities. We had the choice to either play basketball, four square, hula hoop, or to jump rope. That is all we did this week in gym. I’m out!

Science - by Maribel
Hello it’s Maribel back for science again On Thursday we had a experiment to do we put pennies in four cups. After four girls went around the room to put different drinks in the cups such as Coca Cola , lemon juice. vinegar and vinegar with salt. we had to examine them and what they did to the pennies. If you don’t get what we are doing we are doing a experiment with chemical reactions. On Wednesday we had watched a video on physical change. After We had watched that we had taken a test and go 1 wrong because Mrs.Turk pressed the wrong one that someone had said. On Tuseday We had watched another informational video but it was a song. It was a parody of radioactive. It was called chemical reactions. You can guess what it was talking about. It was a little bit advance about the stuff we needed to know but more learning for us. That is all for science this week take care.
