Learning. Growing. Collaborating & Achieving @KrumHighSchool
April 10, 2017
Dear KHS Families:
Good evening. Our students and staff experienced much success last week. We had several UIL Academic teams advance to the regional level. Congratulations to our FCCLA members who competed at state! Softball is 6-0 in District and Baseball is 4-2 in District. Choir received the Sweepstakes award at UIL. FFA had a big week at the Denton County Youth Fair, and Tennis qualified several teams for Regionals.
Our students and staff are committed to excellence and are representing our community well. This week we have District Track, District Golf, Choir UIL Contest, Honor Band, FFA Area CDE's, Baseball and Softball district games, and our seniors will receive their graduation caps and gowns. This week also marks the end of the fifth grading period and the administration of CBA's. Students, we encourage you to finish strong and do your best. Friday is a Bad Weather Day and since we have had such beautiful weather, you get to enjoy an extra day with friends and family.
Finally, this week is Assistant Principal's Week. Please take a moment to send a note of appreciation to Mr. Lightfoot and Mrs. Oh for their commitment and dedication to our students. We are fortunate to have these two leaders on our team.
We look forward to seeing you at one of the many events this week. Please let us know if we can help you in any way. Let's make it a great week!
Go Bobcats!
