Prioritized Tasks
- Assist students with check out using the Alexandria system.
- Shelve books. Please be careful that you are placing books in the correct location. (Check the guide attached to the cart for assistance.)
- Pull books to display related to the monthly theme. Keep the tops of shelves filled with books.
- Check computer carousel to see that paper and pencils are stocked.
- Check the supply drawers and baskets near the stage and on the shelves. Make sure pencils are sharpened and that other materials are properly stored.
Please remember you are here to volunteer and keep our library up and running. We thank you for your time and need to remind you this is not a time to conference with your child’s teacher
Monthly Theme
Each month there will be a theme in the library. Be on the look-out for the theme and please display books throughout the library to match that theme.
September's theme is back-to-school. Anything about school or subjects in school should be put on display
