LHS Class of 2027
8th Grade Pre-Registration and PSAT 8/9 Testing
Complete Pre-Registration For 2023-2024
Your 8th grade student will soon begin the process of enrolling in high school for the 2023-2024 school year. The registration process goes through three phases: pre-registration, course selection in February and registration in June.
At this time, we would like to invite you to begin the pre-registration process for your 8th grade student. This process collects demographic information which is vital to help us communicate with our new students and families and is necessary to complete the online course selection in February for the 2023-2024 school year. We ask this to be completed by October 14th.
Click on the link below and follow these instructions:
- Click on the New Student Gateway box (do not log in).
- Click the red start box.
- Read the instructions and check “I’m ready to begin”. Click Save and Next.
- Select your language of choice in the upper right hand corner. Registration can be completed in either English or Spanish.
- Create your account - User Name, then Password (must contain 1 number and be 6 characters)
- Now you can complete pre-registration.
PSAT 8/9 Testing
Save the Date!!
We will hold the PSAT 8/9 at LHS on the morning of Saturday, October 15th, 2022. The PSAT 8/9 is required for all 8th graders who will attend LHS. You are automatically registered for this test by being a student in a LHS feeder school.
We ask that students be dropped off at the LHS main entrance between 7:50-8:10 am to check in and receive their room assignment. We recommend carpooling as traffic will be congested. All students are to be seated in their assigned rooms by 8:15 am to begin testing procedures.
Testing should be completed by noon; however, students receiving accommodations per an individualized education plan (IEP) or a 504 plan, may finish at different times. Students receiving accommodations will receive a letter prior to testing with more specific details about their accommodations.
Students who miss the test on October 15th will be contacted on Monday, October 17th with details regarding the test make-up. The make-up is typically the following Saturday morning.
