Remember, if you would like to keep your newsletter private, make sure to set your newsletter to private and only share newsletters with viewers you trust.
How can I gain access to this feature?
Only our paying Educators will have access to this feature. If you'd like to upgrade, visit: www.smore.com/educators
Can I add an attachment but it will appear as an image in the newsletter?
We're afraid that at this time, there's no way to add an attachment and have it look like an image rather than a link to download the file.
Having said this, a possible workaround would be to take a screenshot of the file and upload it as a regular image to your newsletter!
I try to upload a file using the Attachment feature but nothing happens when I click on the File widget
The most common reason why users have trouble uploading files is that cache is preventing them from being able to access the most recent update of the website.
The cache is your browser history; it’s a place on your hard disk where the browser keeps things it downloaded once in case they’re needed again.
To access the Attachment feature, we recommend clearing the cache in your browser. We’ve actually created a guide with the instructions on how to clear cache in each browser. You can access the guide by clicking HERE.
I cleared cache but I’m still unable to upload files
No need to worry! It might just require a little more investigation on our end.

Recipients who view my newsletter on their mobile phones aren’t able to download my attachment
We discovered that attachment accessibility entirely depends on the internal browser of the messaging system with which the recipient is viewing the newsletter. Some messaging platforms do not have permission to download attachments directly to a phone.
Our recommendation is to have your recipients view your newsletters from Google Chrome on their phones, as it allows the attachments to be downloaded and opened.
Please note: this feature can only be accessed by users with a Premium plan (paid accounts)
