EARLY VOTING FOR MAY 2025 ELECTION
Early voting for the DSISD 2025 Bond and Board of Trustee elections runs through April 29. Registered voters within the DSISD boundaries are eligible to vote. Early voting locations in Dripping Springs are the Center for Learning & Leadership (300 Sportsplex Drive) and Patriots' Hall (231 Patriots’ Hall Boulevard). Voting times vary by county. ANNUAL ONLINE VERIFICATION PROCESS NOW OPEN
Dripping Springs ISD’s annual online verification process for all students is now open. According to state law, this process must be completed each year for all students – those who have previously been enrolled in DSISD and those who are new to our district and previously completed registration in the spring.
Family Access logins are used to begin this process. Parents received a reminder email with their Family Access login information. If you do not have a login or cannot remember your password, please follow the directions in the reminder email.
Please complete online verification for each child in your family as soon as possible; this process should be completed by Thursday, May 22. During the verification process, parents complete back-to-school forms. This process takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.
If you have problems with the online process, please contact your child’s campus and ask for the Skyward Family Access contact/Student Records Specialist. Computers are available at campuses for those who do not have one available at home.
DSHS UNVEILS TOP 10 SENIORS
On Tuesday, Dripping Springs High School announced the Top 10 students by academic rank for the Class of 2025. Eben Sebastian has been named the valedictorian and Sophia Rahmani is the salutatorian. All 10 students carried grade-point averages over 111.
In addition to Sebastian and Rahmani, Hannah Brack, Ava Azua, Katie Newman, Hannah Gilchrist, Katerina Thomas, Ryder Trent, Rebeca Avalos-Oviedo, and Audrey Staker comprised the top 10 list.
The students will be recognized at the DSISD Board of Trustees meeting (April 28), the Senior Academic Awards Ceremony (May 14), and the Dripping Springs High School Graduation Ceremony (May 23).
Listed below are the top 10 students by academic rank, the university they will be attending, and their anticipated field of study.

TWO TIGERS CLAIM REGIONAL TRACK & FIELD TITLES; ADVANCE TO STATE MEET
Dripping Springs High School track and field’s Adeline Spies and Izzy Crew earned berths to the UIL 6A State Meet following record-breaking and regional title performances at the Region IV-6A Championships at Heroes Stadium in San Antonio.
Spies, a junior pole vaulter, shattered her school record mark in the event with a height of 12 feet to finish in first place. Spies cleared the 12-foot bar on her first attempt to surpass her previous record by half a foot and secure a state berth for the first time in her career.
Meanwhile, Crew, a freshman competing in the Wheelchair Division, captured the regional title in all three events to qualify for the state meet. She won the shot put by more than four feet with a throw of 17 feet nine inches. Crew also set Region 4 stadium records on the track with times of 18.38 and 1:06.10 in the 100 and 400 meters, respectively.
Crew will compete at the UIL State Meet on Friday, May 2 at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, while Spies will follow on Saturday, May 3.
TIGER CRY YEARBOOK EARNS RECOGNITION
Dripping Springs High School's yearbook, Tiger Cry, has been recognized in the Jostens Look Book 2025 as an example of excellence, creativity, inclusion and innovation. The Jostens Look Book is a collection of outstanding yearbooks and their creative themes, covers, designs and coverage of school events, storytelling and photography. Out of over 1,000 yearbooks that were submitted, the 78th edition of the Tiger Cry was one of the 400 selected in the Jostens annual "best-of-the-best" publication.
SOFTBALL WINS SEVENTH-STRAIGHT DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP; BEGINS PLAYOFFS THURSDAY
The Dripping Springs High School Softball team captured a seventh-straight district title following an 11-1 record in District 26-6A action this season. The Tigers are 23-7-1 on the season and begin a best-of-three bi-district playoff series this week against Round Rock Stony Point. Tickets for Thursday's game are available at dsisdtx.us/athleticstickets.
