Bingo Night Tonight - We hope you can join us tonight at for our Family Bingo Night sponsored by PTC. Doors open at 5:00, with games starting at 5:30. See you there!

ACE Volunteers Needed - We are looking for parent or community volunteers to help us run our wonderful ACE (Applied Creative Expression) program this year. This program runs from 1:20-2:20 for 4 Fridays starting April 12th. See the flyer below for more information!

TK/K Enrollment - TK and Kindergarten enrollment is now open! Students are eligible to enroll in TK if they turn 5 between September 2, 2024 and June 2, 2025. Students are eligible to enroll in Kindergarten if they turn 5 on or before September 1, 2024. This process can be started online by clicking here, or by coming into the office to get an enrollment packet. Our online enrollment can also be found on our school website. We can't wait to meet all of our new students!

Dear Pollock Pines Families,

In recognition of Monday’s inclement weather closure, the district will be making up this missed day on Monday, March 18th. In the event that no other closures occur between now and March 18th, the District’s Spring Break will begin on Tuesday, March 19th and end with a return on Tuesday, April 2nd. In the event that another closure happens in the coming two weeks, we will use the 19th as another makeup day and so on. With this said, the long-term forecast indicates that we will not have another impactful storm between now and then. Please know that we will retain the June 5th makeup day in the event that we have a closure after our return in April.

PTC will be meeting Tuesday, April 9th @ 2:45pm in Room 2. We are a group of families and staff members who would love your help in planning family-friendly events, awesome assemblies for our kids and finding ways to support and enhance the school community!

As the weather begins to change, we typically see an increase in the number of power outages in the area. Keep in mind that we recently installed generators that can operate our entire campus. Even if the power is out in the area, school will likely be in session. If we do cancel school due to a power outage, or for any other reason, we will notify you through all of our schoolwide communication systems.

Hello Pinewood families and staff!

We invite you to help our yearbook team collect photos of all the fun moments and activities this school year. To help enhance the Pinewood yearbook and ensure it is full of meaningful memories for our students, we ask that you please consider sharing photos you take of school related activities/events (while on campus, field trips, sports and other school events). You may email photos to pwyearbook@ppesd.org now and throughout the year. Keep in mind that the yearbook team will be working hard in the spring to complete and finalize our yearbook. The earlier you send them, the better.

Note: While we want everyone to send photos, due to size and layout limitations, we may not be able to include them all. If there is a photo you want to ensure is in your personal yearbook, remember to take advantage of the 2 free custom pages that TreeRing offers when you purchase a yearbook for your family, and include your special photo(s) there.

IMPORTANT: This email is monitored by a parent volunteer, NOT school staff. Do not send questions or content regarding topics other than the yearbook to this email. Please utilize your normal routes of communication with your student's teacher or the office for all other inquiries.
